| On Dec 21, 2009 a donation of $500 each was presented to representatives from SAIF, Morinville Food Bank, St. Albert Food Bank and the YOuth Emergency Shelter by Sensei Manuel deSa. |
Congratulations to all the above students from Desa School of Karate
and Rooke School of Karate who successfully tested for their next rank
in kobudo. Included are several students who tested for Jr. Black Belt
and Black Belt and Patricia Karl who tested for 2nd degree Black Belt. |

| 54 students from Desa School of Karate, Rooke School of Karate and Iseke School of Karate travelled to Florida in June, 2009 to attend the Kenyukai Koshukai and compete in the Uechi Ryu World Cup for Peace. |
